Entre l'enseignement qu'elle assure aux ateliers d'Art de la ville et son atelier parisien, Christiane Vielle a entrepris, depuis trente ans, une œuvre exigeante et singulière dans le domaine de l’estampe et celui du livre d’artiste. Une œuvre exigeante par le métier rigoureux et sans faille qu'elle a acquis jour après jour et qui lui permet une expression inventive et rarement tentée dans le domaine de l'estampe. La Nature est la grande inspiratrice de cette œuvre gravé - une nature sélectionnée, travaillée de l'intérieur jusqu'à en extraire quelques signes essentiels : abstraits, pleins de lumière et de texture. Le geste « devient paysage ».
Dans ses livres d'artistes, son travail répond à des textes d'écrivains tout aussi exigeants et rigoureux tels Charles Juliet, Thierry Laget, ou Philippe Jaccottet...
L'univers artistique et sensible qui est le sien a des résonances d'infini, d'océans, de ciels et de poésie qui trouveront en terre bretonne des échos naturels. Venez les découvrir cet été dans la fraicheur de la galerie de la médiathèque des Ursulines.

The First Exlibris
Expo Exchange
in Chang Zhou Wu Jin Exlibris Museum
This exlibris museum is the second national
museum in Chang Zhou Wu Jin, which is aimed at collection, exhibition, research
and popularization. Meanwhile, it is being used in launching various of public
welfare activities about exlibris. This museum is located in the center of Wu
Jin, at the west of the museum is the tourist attraction of Yan Cheng, and the
reverse side is the new world commercial center. Moreover, we can see the
citizen circle and regional government in the north, and the lemon community is
in the opposite, which owns the beautiful environment and rich culture breath.
In addition, majority of famous people converge in Wu Jin, and there have a lot
of literary families. Therefore, it is very appropriate that the exchange is
arranged in Wu Jin. In the meantime, one of the reasons that we hold the first
exchange due to the fact that we have the plan to build an exlibris base in
Chang Zhou. Consequently, we hope that the exlibris organizations can give us
support and help to win the development of exlibris.

The introduction of the art galley: in
total, the art galley has five storeys, and every storey’s area is 600 square metres .
The bottom layer is the hall, which can be used to the introduction of open
ceremony, exhibition as well as activities and so on. The second and third
floors are the exhibition rooms, and every exhibition room is neatly 80 meters long. The forth
floor is Hui Nantian art galley, which displays the works of Mr. Nantian Hui
and the introduction of his lifetime. The fifth floor is the exlibris museum,
and the sixth floor is used to the calligraphy’s office and the room to create.

Holiday Hotel(5 star): It is the biggest branded hotel in Chang Zhou, which
have two banqueting halls that more than 3000 square meters ,
and can be used to display various of exhibits as well as going on different
kinds of exchange activities. Meanwhile, this hotel contains Chinese and
Western restaurant, so you can enjoy different kinds of food what you like. The
holiday hotel will introduce famous people in art and literature from elsewhere
in order to make the hotel be an Art

real situation.
3.
The registration fee of activity
The registration fee is 200EUR or 250
USD(fee may change according to the real exchange rate) who participate in the
exchange, and which contains data charges, the ticket of Yan Cheng, lodging,
meals, memorial book tickets and so on, and everybody should hold their traffic
fees. Meanwhile, who needs the single room that the registration fee is 300 EUR
or 350 USD.
Introduction:
(1). Everybody can be free to get a piece of data ( the first exposition’s
handbook, small print, catalogue of new exlibris exhibition, catalogue of
collection exhibition.)
(2). Everybody
can be free to publish the information on the exposition’s handbook (
voluntarily, everybody that has this need can inform us, and submit a piece of
data about 200 words.), and the sponsors can provide a piece of data about 200
words as well as a photo.
(3). Everyone
can add the publishing content and pictures. In the meantime, you should increase
the fee as follows.
The publication fee of manual cover is
15000rmb, which can be regarded as sponsorship mechanism.
The publication fee of the handbook’s
bottom is 10000rmb, which can be regarded as sponsorship mechanism.
The publication fee of cover 1 or cover 2
is 6000rmb, which can be regarded as sponsorship mechanism.
The publication fee is 2000rmb which is
published inside, which can be regarded as sponsorship mechanism.
4.
The requirements of individual exhibition and joint exhibition
If the author
needs to participate in the individual exhibition and joint exhibition, you can
adhere to the following requirements to send the composition for the
exhibition.
Requirements:
a. Joint exhibition: send more than 30 exlibris productions for the
exhibition.
b. Individual exhibition: send more than 120 exlibris productions
for the exhibition.
Meanwhile, the exhibit will not be returned
to the authors, which will be use to collect, print, propagate and provide to
the sponsors. In other words, the author will not pay the fees of displaying
place, binding and layout, arrangement of exhibition as well as propagation and
so on.
5.
Naming rights
(1) The host naming rights what should fund
more than 50000rnb, and the name which contain the designation of fair, the
prize of the gold medal, invitation, the handbook of exposition and contest’s
catalogue. In addition, the ones that can publish data and pictures on the
handbook to 1—3 pages, which can gain more than one kind of exlibris that are
named for the designation of the sponsors and very kind of exlibris is more
than 40 pieces( the exlibris is made by the international famous printmaker ).
(2) The host naming rights of the prize:
the investment can be regarded as a host naming right of the prize, which
should fund 5000rmb. For example, the gold medal can be named “×× Award”, the sliver medal can
be named “×× Award” and so on. Meanwhile, the investor can gain
20 pieces of exlibris that are named for the designation of the sponsors. In
addition, we will increase the amount of exlibris’s kinds according to the
money from the investors. Moreover, we are going to express our thanks on the
invitation, handbook and catalogue, and we will publish one page of the
institution or the individuals’ data and pictures.
(3). The host naming rights of co-organizer:
the sponsor must invest more than 10000rmb, and the co-organizer will be
introduced on the handbook, invitation and catalogue as well as their data and
pictures. In the meantime, the investor will gain 20 pieces of exlibris that
are named for the designation of the sponsors. In addition, we will increase
the amount of exlibris’s kinds according to the money from the investors.
Introduction:
the sponsor can be free to pay the registration fee, and the amounts of persons
to participate in the exchange are based on the money that the sponsors invest.
Normally, the number of people will be limited two persons.
The expo
is aimed at publicizing the etching as well as the art of exlibris, and let the
normal person participate in the activities of exlibris, especially the ability
of appreciating art. Meanwhile, the spiritual civilization can be improved a
lot. In addition, please give us the support and help, gathering the energy to
make a wonderful and memorable expo, and brighten up Chang Zhou , China

The 2015
China Exlibris Expo Seminars invites you to
come and join the Exlibris
competition, the exlibris means reading and collection. We
invite you to attend and communicate directly with other exlibris lovers.
1. No restriction and
limit about Exlibris’s original theme and creation time. (The competitor can send the
magnum opus of each period as it
is the first time held such competition)
2.
Entries Requested:
a. Exhibition must be applied with X1, X2,
X3, X5, X6, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C7, C8, lithograph, leak edition(S1, S2, S3).
Computer printing, photography, painting, paper cutting,electrostatic copy,
copy, photographic products and similar works will not be accepted; Exlibris submitted at least 4 kinds, 3 pieces
of each kind; In order to fully display your exlibris creation
and production talent, welcome send more excellent works .
b. Entries
must have a host name and Latin word EXLIBRIS. Universal exlibris will not
be accepted.
c. The original of
participating exlibris usually less than 17cm and without lining and mounting. The white space around in the original
must more than 1.5
centimeters , and the work must be tidy and no holes.
According to international practice, you need to indicate cline to the painting
paper from left to right in pencil: format, print number, the subject, author's
name, the time to product. The exlibris
don't write anything on the back, and keep it clean.
d. Entries must be attached with the
introduction of author and collectors, zip code, address and email, and do not
paste on the exlibris.
e. The domestic competition exlibris works which is created after 2006
must have exact print number. Foreign exlibris which created after 2014 must have the
exact number. Taking account of the sponsors can flow exlibris better, we can better to
get help from sponsors in the future, and can better to promote
the exlibris activities, so please offer understanding and
support.
f. The works will be not returned, and
the organizers have these rights: exhibition, publishing, collection,
publicity, communication, selling, and without payment of royalties. The participant
is deemed to agree with the terms.
3.
The way of ranking:
a. the principle to rank: the principle
that should embody fair, democracy and concentration, and which choose a way
that collectors and organizers combine with professors to form the organizing
committee to rank.
b. the number of person to gain prize: The gold
medal of new exlibris: one person; 5000rmb
The sliver
medal of new exlibris: two persons;3000rmb
The bronze
medal of new exlibris: five persons; 1000rmb
Honorable mention: twenty persons.
In addition, the person who gain prize can get the certificate of
honor.
c. Those who will be selected into the
competition will be promulgated the certificate of participating in the
exhibition, and can be free to gain a catalogue about the exhibition.

VII "CONTRATALLA" INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL OF EX-LIBRIS
VII BIENAL INTERNACIONAL DE EX-LIBRIS "CONTRATALLA"
Dado el éxito de las anteriores ediciones de la Bienal hemos decidido convocar
una nueva edición de acuerdo con las siguientes:
Bases
1.- A este certamen podrán concurrir, con un máximo de cinco obras inéditas,
artistas de todo el mundo.
2.- El tema y la técnica serán libres. El tamaño del papel
será de un máximo de 14x19 cm. y la imagen podrá ocupar una parte o la
totalidad del papel según decida el artista.
3.- En el dorso de las obras presentadas deberán figurar los
siguientes datos: nombre completo del autor, dirección posta, correo
electrónico y técnica empleada.
4.- Las obras se presentarán personalmente o remitiéndolas a
portes pagados a CONTRATALLA, C/ Santa Ana, 16 – 43003 de Tarragona. En un
mismo envío (paquete) se podrán mandar obras de diferentes artistas.
5.- La participación en la Bienal es gratuita; las obras
presentadas no estarán firmadas ni numeradas y no llevarán marco, cristal ni
ningún otro tipo de soporte. NO SE DEVOLVERÁN A SUS AUTORES, pasarán a formar
parte de la colección no venal "Contratalla".
6.- El plazo de admisión de las obras finalizará el 30 de
noviembre de 2015.
7.- Se establecen tres premios en metálico de 1000, 500 y
200€; se podrán conceder hasta diez menciones honoríficas, sin recompensa
económica.
8.- La concesión de los premios será efectuada por un jurado
cuyo fallo se hará público el 30 de diciembre de 2015. El resultado les será
comunicado a los participantes por correo electrónico y a través de las redes
sociales de Contratalla.
9.- Con las obras premiadas y seleccionadas se confeccionará
un catálogo y se celebrarán exposiciones de las mismas en diferentes ciudades;
las obras se podrán reproducir en catálogos, postales, carteles, etc.
10.- La presentación de la obra en este concurso supone la aceptación de las
bases, la conformidad absoluta con las decisiones del jurado y la renuncia a
cualquier reclamación.

VII "CONTRATALLA" INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL OF EX-LIBRIS
Given the success of the Biennial's previous editions, it
have been decided to convoke a new one accorging to the following rules:
RULES
1.- Artists all over the world may take part in this competition with a maximum
of five authentic works. 2.- Themes
and techniques will be optional. The size of the paper
will be of a maximum of 14 x 19
cm ., the image can occupy a part or the totallity of
the paper's surface according to the artist's choice.
3.- On the reverse side of the handed in works the following information must
be given: full name of the author,
address, e-mail and technique used.
4.- The works can be handed in personally or sent postage
paid to CONTRATALLA, C/ Santa Ana, 16 –
43003 Tarragona. The works belonging to different artists
can be sent in the same parcel post.
5.- The taking part in the Biennial is free; the presented works will not
be signed, neither numbered, they will not be framed, carry a glass or any
other type of a base. They will not be returned to their authors; they
will remain as a part of the non-venal collection
"Contratalla".
6.- The time limit of admission will be on 30th of November, 1915.
7.- Three cash prizes of 1000, 500 and 200€; will be
established and ten honorific mentions can be given without any economic
compensation.
8.- The prizes granted will be determined by a jury whose
decission will be delivered on the 30th of December, 1915. It will be
communicated to the participants via e-mail or any other social web used by
Contratalla.
9.- All the awarded and selected works will be reproduced in
a catalogue and exhibited in different cities; they could also be reproduced in
catalogues in general, post card, posters, etc.
10.- By participating in this competition, the artists accept the above rules
and the jury's decission and therefore they renounce to any possible
demand.
